About the Event
Join us for an intimate family discussion with award-winning author Martha Engber, author of BLISS ROAD, the first-ever memoir by the child of an undiagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder dad.
Awarded 5 stars on Goodreads and Readers’ Favorite, the book chronicles the difficult path to discovering her dad’s all-but-invisible disability and its psychological affects. Given an estimated 1 in 20 people worldwide — 1.6 billion people — has some neurodiverse condition, whether a mental illness, learning disability or physical condition like epilepsy, Ms. Engber encourages more understanding of — and help for — neurodiverse families to help them thrive.
Ms. Engber will be joined by members of her Cheshire family — her two sisters, Deanna Rozak and Sue Clarke, and Sue’s son, Brian, who has ASD — all of whom play prominent roles in the book.
