I’m still blown away by the talented people I met at the San Francisco Writers Conference this summer. One of them is Amelia Pendleton, a writer/illustrator. Even her business card wowed me!
As a freelance artist, she’s illustrated children’s books and comics. What I love best is her depiction of strong female characters. Rather than be just sidekicks, they’re the center of the stories. We need more of that!
