Spring: The Best Time to Read "The Falcon"

Spring is most definitely the time to read THE FALCON, THE WOLF AND THE HUMMINGBIRD, a Laramie Book Award semi-finalist with a 4.5 rating on Goodreads and Amazon. This is the season when this tale about two unique, warring Native American tribes in precolonial southern Connecticut takes place.

I love that season in Connecticut and loved learning about the plants and trees of the land in terms of their growing/flowering season, as well as what grew in that region before the Europeans arrived.

One plant that plays an important role is that of water hemlock.
