12 Must-Read Books Based in Hawaii

All right, so the “must read” in this list featured on Bookglow — “all about books, all of the time” — is probably an exaggeration. But there have to be at least some you might like. If, that is, you like books set in Hawaii, which I do. And if you go to the web page, you’ll note the title actually states “11” books. 2021 Goodreads Choice Awards

There are so many books on the market, it’s hard to know what to read. That’s why I tend to look for lists that are curated. Where do you look for help in choosing books? ___ For updates about Martha’s books, news and giveaways, check out her website

Cozy Mystery Fans and Writers: Meet Diana Savastano

A month ago I featured Lisa Diane, owner of The Sophisticated Palate, who created Biscottini Bites for people and Bark-otinni Bites for dogs, along with her many other creative and delicious endeavors. As the saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Lisa’s mom, Diana Savastano, writes cozy mysteries like her latest, A Party Without Cake is Murder, a Sibling Cookery Mystery. For those who don’t know, cozy mysteries are those that are fun and non-traumatic, rather

    In the Fullness of Time

I was happy to receive an advance copy of this book. I was even happier to truly appreciate the author’s restraint when it comes to telling vs. showing. I’m not a fan of books that explicitly tell me everything, which implies I’m too stupid to figure things out for myself. Carolyn R. Russell, on the other hand, doesn’t make that mistake in this new YA dystopian thriller, In the Fullness of Time. Instead, she has confidence in the intelligence of her young readers and drops th
