A Movie Worth Watching on This MLK Day

Though 13th, the Academy Award-winning documentary by Ava DuVernay, premiered 10 years ago, I’ll suggest the movie is worth watching, and re-watching, for all of the reasons I state in my essay, “13th: A Tough Movie Worth Watching,” which I posted on my uniting Americans blog, VigilantPositivity.

I’m posting a link on MLK Day, not because I think we should be laying blame. Instead, it’s an opportunity for our country to make positive change.

I take my hat off to Ava DuVernay, an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer whose credits include Selma, and those who participated in the film for not holding back.
