Historical Fiction Panel Sept. 17

I’m stoked about joining Kathleen B. Jones, Linda Kass and Kerry Chaput for this free Zoom panel discussion with Colin Mustful, editor of History Through Fiction. Talk about strong women writing strong female characters!

Here’s the link to register and get the Zoom link.

Do you have a favorite historical fiction book?

I think mine would be COLD MOUNTAIN by Charles Frazier. I still remember one image in particular, of how the female character was so shocked by how thin a man she’d known had gotten while off fighting the Civil War that she put a hand on his belly and one on his back and drew her hands away, to look at that small width.

Images can be so powerful!
