I love learning about people, places and experiences I never knew about. Through my connection with this small, but fiercely independent press that published 2 of my books (WINTER LIGHT and BLISS ROAD), I’ve met authors from around the world and heard stories I wouldn’t have otherwise because the Big 5 are not interested or think the audiences would be too small.
But since joining the VLP community, I've learned that not only are new writers and new voices a growing phenomenon as readers’ appetite for global literature expands, but they’re integral for making the world a more open, loving and tolerable place.
All proceeds will go toward helping the press publish new voices.
