Almost every week I get a letter like the one above from someone who’s read BLISS ROAD,, my memoir about being the daughter of an undiagnosed Autistic dad.
For those who’ve written me to share your stories: thank you. And to anyone else who suspects their parents are Autistic — or any of the other dozen neurodiverse conditions including ADHD, mental illness and dyslexia — please continue to forward my messages so we reach as many people as possible.
I’m a huge supporter of neurodiverse families like mine and know how loving they can be, especially if they get that extra help and TLC.
