I don’t know about you, but I was reared in a family of three girls. And while the careers back then were only just opening up beyond that of teacher or nurse, my mom made sure we stood up for ourselves and one another.
Mary Donahue, the protag of SCATTERED LIGHT, the sequel to WINTER LIGHT, didn’t have a mom for long, and she doesn’t have a sister, but she stands up for herself and would for all of you.
Who’s that female relative or friend who serves as your loyal sentry?
And a tidbit for you: this book is the second book in the second in the Mary Donahue Chronicles. I've always seen her story as a trilogy. I'm at work on the third book
But who knows, she could tell me to write more!
