What?! A second Vine Leaves Press fellow author meetup in less than a month?
Yup! This time I met up with Jennifer Lang, author of the fabulous PLACES WE LEFT BEHIND: A MEMOIR-IN-MINIATURE . She spoke at the Rockridge Library in Oakland.
Rather than a regular book signing and reading, however, she gave us writing prompts about the concept of “home,” the central theme of her book.
It was a wonderful way to learn about the touching events in the lives of strangers who, after sharing their stories, were no longer strangers.
Very poignant!
